KNOCKOUT DEALS OVER A ROUND OR TWO April, 2008

18 April 2008: Lichfield-based property developer, Fresh Space Ltd is holding a first-time buyer event with a difference, proving that it’s not all doom and gloom for those trying to get a foot onto the property ladder.

On Thursday May 01, Fresh Space and sister company Igloo, are inviting prospective purchasers to come along to Bar Sport, Cannock from 5.00pm. Members of the Fresh Space and Connells team will be on hand to offer free financial advice and information on a host of incentive schemes devised to help first-time buyers.

The Open Market HomeBuy scheme is one of the initiatives available on various apartments across the region. Participating developments include Girton Road, Station Road, Cannock Road and New Penkridge Road in Cannock and Stroll in Stafford.  Other tailored incentive packages include legal fees and stamp duty paid, cash-back on completion, shared equity schemes and mortgage subsidies.

The Government-backed Open Market HomeBuy scheme provides special arrangements to help individuals get on, or back into the property market.  Essentially with the help of Fresh Space’s financial advisors and a HomeBuy agent Fresh Space can, on selected units and subject to criteria, obtain an equity loan of 40 per cent of the purchase price which, under certain circumstances, has no fixed-term for repayment nor does it bear any rental costs or ongoing payments.  It can be a completely free loan that is not repaid until the purchaser sells the property unless the buyer chooses to repay it early.
For the buyer this can equate to a purchase price of below £65,000 on certain units. With the Government’s recent announcement of cash grants of £1,500 being made available to eligible purchasers, the Open Market HomeBuy scheme can be a very attractive proposition for first-time buyers.

Rob Rafferty, Group Managing Director of Fresh Space, comments:
“Fresh Space understands that first-time buyers are finding the thought of stepping onto the property ladder increasingly daunting in the current market. By offering schemes such as the Open Market HomeBuy scheme, more buyers will be able to take that initial step towards owning their first home. By hosting an informative event in a relaxed venue, we are hoping that potential first-time buyers will come along and find out what’s available and how we can help”.

Any first-time buyers interested in finding out more about the various deals on offer from Fresh Space and Igloo are welcome to come along to Bar Sport, 85 - 87 High Green, Cannock on May 01 from 5.00pm.
