NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT HAS THE EDGE October, 2007

Staffordshire-based property developer, Fresh Space, has turned the spotlight on Dordon for its latest homes.

It has announced the acquisition of land on Dunn’s Lane that will see the building of seven detached family houses and one detached bungalow in a private, secure gated development.

The majority of the site has been standing fallow for a number of years situated on the residential road, bordering open countryside and woodland.

Fresh Space has become recognised as one of the UK’s rising stars in home building and has won awards for its carefully considered developments. Many of these have been refurbishments of period properties to create new housing or the development of historic sites. All schemes have been designed to take account of their surroundings and incorporate local materials.

Rob Rafferty, Group managing Director of Fresh Space, believes that the new homes in Dordon will provide families an opportunity to move further up the property ladder into unique modern family homes within an ideal secure location. He explains: “It’s no secret the difference that being near to good schools can make to the desirability of a property and this is something we consider carefully along with local amenities and convenient transport links.

As well as a stunning location on the outskirts of Dordon close to open countryside, The Edge falls into the catchment area of the best performing local state school. We expect this, along with the design and finish of the houses, to add to the demand for them.”
The eight homes will all be built with individual characteristics and features. They will range from three to five bedroom units, with a variety of living spaces, modern high specification kitchens, bathrooms and all have garages with additional parking. Prices will start from £289,950.

The houses are due to be released on the market shortly, with completion expected in May 2008. Anyone interested in finding out more should contact Taylor Cole on 01827 31 14 12.
